Traditional, centrifugation-based preparation methods are physically disruptive to sperm, damaging their DNA and leading to the production of reactive oxygen species (ROS). ZyMōt is a natural approach, without centrifugation. And the difference is instantly clear: In an independent study of 30 patients, ZyMōt separated the healthiest sperm with the lowest possible levels of DNA fragmentation and significantly reduced ROS.

In a study of 265 patients, evenly split between traditional, DGC processing and ZyMōt-processed groups, ZyMōt use significantly improved the ongoing clinical pregnancy rate by almost 10%.

In new research presented at ASRM 2020, two independent studies showed that euploid embryo rates were significantly higher with ZyMōt-processed samples. One study also took particular note of workflow differences: ZyMōt devices save procedural steps and time. Another study examined the impact on pregnancy rates. A significant improvement in ongoing pregnancy was observed with ZyMōt devices.
